If you want tikka masala sauce great! Because that is all they will give you. Ordered a few dishes and every one was the same mild tomato cream sauce. Even #62 described as “lemongrass” and “very hot”. Don’t waste your time here, there are many good Indian places in Munich

Not a * worth it?? Since I only managed half the portion, I asked to pack the rest. That was done rather reluctantly. At home I noticed that there was no rice, even though we had left plenty! I've never seen anything like it! Underground service and something unfriendly! Never again??

A very tasty Indian or Indian restaurant in Lehel near an office building. There is a good menu for lunch, but please do not expect comfort at this rush hour. Recommended for lunch if you want to eat quickly, deliciously and cheaply. It's a bit like the traffic in Mumbai. Eat in peace, but then please pay quickly and make room for new guests. Service is still very friendly and courteous. Outside of lunchtime you can comfortably enjoy the food and the company of those with whom you go there. The decoration in the squares and in the entire restaurant is appropriate and aesthetic. The bathroom is constantly clean and all in all the restaurant gives a great impression. I think the selection is broad and everything that I received in front of me tasted great. The professionalism of the staff is truly great hasn't been so fascinated by an inn for a long time.

We came here on a Saturday evening, asked for seats and got some. The people here are very accommodating. After ordering drinks and food, starters and meals came very quickly. Everything tasted great - including the dessert. The only complaint on my part is that it is very cramped.

We really liked our experience at Sitar. We were there for lunch, it wasn't too crowded. The service was fast and attentive. Our food was great, a little different from what we know from our home town. The prices are perfect.

Delicious food which usually caters to everybody's choices. Food came fast, was piping hot and completely yummy. Lovely, relaxed ambiance, perfect for your meal. My brother was in town so we arrived here for dinner, wonderful food And atmosphere. We actually want to thank the staff for making my brother's birthday so special.

It was the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to. I was a little averse to Indian food because of overly spicy dishes. But there was the opposite. There were strongly spiced dishes but that was then made visible on the menu. On the other hand, there was also milder food and a wide range of Indian food in general. The ambience is also very authentic and the service very attentive. Simply a great experience

One of the best Indian restaurant in Munich. I went here with one of my friend for dinner. It was a Saturday evening and the restaurant was totally full, fortunately we had a reservation. We ordered a Sitar Thali for 2. It includes 4 non-veg, 2 Veg Subjis, Rice, Roti, Kulcha, Salad and Raita. All the Subjis were amazing. The most important thing was, for all subjis the gravy (curry) was not alike. The taste of every Subji was ultimate and had such a delicious Subji after a long time in Germany. The ambience of restaurant was decent. Seating arrangement was little congested but the quality of food overruled everything. So, if you are a fan of authentic Indian food. Please do visit this place.

Cute place, one of the only open places in the area on a Sunday. The food was good, the waiters were very fast and a little insisting (but we also got in at 14:10 and they closed at 15:30 so)

Similar to other reviews they add to the bill without saying and then charge for it. In my case they gave me a mixed rice dish with my curry rather than requested pilau rice. Prompted them when it arrived and they claimed ignorance. Then prompted AGAIN during meal and he offered to replace. I said no as i was nearly finished but then in the end he added the full cost of the rice at 6.90 to the bill... Removed it when asked but clear attempt at extortion here. Wouldnt mind so much but the gemuse rice wasn't good.

Despite being very full around lunch time, the service was great, the food excellent, and kid-friendly on top of that.

Good restaurant, we enjoyed it. I'm not an expert on Indian cuisine, so I can't give an evaluation by comparing it with other dishes, but I liked them. Nice and quiet place, you can find a place even without reserving

I was totally disappointed. Not only the ambiance was bad but also the food. When I entered the restaurant, to be honest, I wasn’t expecting much. But the food wasn’t even average. We had ordered Naan, Achaari Tikka Chicken, Hyderabad biriyani and Handi Chicken. Frankly, not even one of the four tasted good. Naan wasn’t cooked properly, it was a bit raw. Achaari Chicken was so salty. The Hyderabad Biriyani they serve is the worst ever biriyani I have ever had in my life. I am from South of India and it came as an absolute shock to me when the biriyani was filled with Spinach (tbh, it’s a Spinach rice). I have never had biriyani with Spinach in my life. The worst food was Handi Chicken. Even though, the taste was okay, the chicken was so bad. It smelled horrible. We did complain about Hyderabad Biriyani. They did take it back. But I couldn’t stop myself from posting a review. As everything was bad, we refrained ourselves from complaining about the rest. Food is absolutely terrible. I hope the restaurant improves their quality of the food. I wouldn’t even give them a star. However, the complimentary chai they gave because we complained was good.

I will give 0 star if I can , the price unclear and the service look unfriendly, they didn’t inform us when we need to pay extra fee for the rice , really disappointed.

Good food at good price.

Good curry. Not too much on the plate, plenty of flavour and not greasy. Friendly service.

We ordered a dish that included Nan. When asked whether we preferred garlic nan, we said yes. On the bill, we were billed an additional garlic Nan. As we did not receive the Nan included in the dish, we were basically cheated. When ordering we were not told that this was an additional order. The good Indian food and very attentive service cannot make up for this.

We were desperate for wifi and this restaurant was one of the only ones that offered. Food was good, portions just the right size. Price was a bit expensive, but not enough to complain about.
